Thank you so much for all your comments on the previous image.  Thought such things happen only here in India.
The irony of it all is that this place where all this was dumped was just around 40 to 50 Kms (24 - 31 miles) away from a factory that manufactures one of India's most well known brand of Jams and sauces.

About this shot, it just shows exactly the place where it was dumped. Just 9 kms away from the district off Kolar (rhymes with solar ) and is on the national highway # 4 and i guess the 273 indicates the distance in Kms to Chennai (formerly Madras)

The language that is written on the milestone is Kannada, the local language of the state of Karnataka of which Bangalore is the capital.

You can fine similar scenes in Kashmir, where you will find red apples scattered on both sides of the roads as well as nearby fields, but no-one picks them up, the view just looks amazing.
As for the shot once again very well captured!
